The Importance of divinely birthing our starseeds earth side or Aka Natural Home birthing is very imperative. Bringing forth seeds in the comfort of the space you choose was the norm. When a woman was ready to give birth, her female relatives, and friends would help her through the process, along with a midwife. By the 1900s increasing numbers of women started having their babies at hospitals. Why?
“In 1900, more than half babies were delivered by midwives. By 1935, only fifteen percent were delivered by midwives, ”Over time, there developed a rivalry between doctors and midwives, ”. “Doctors would say ‘we know more about anatomy, we are better suited to do this.’ Midwives would say ‘we are women, we have experience, we know how we do this.’”
The shift to hospital births started in the 20th century. “What happened in the beginning of the 20th century was anesthesia for delivering children, and they wanted to have pain-free childbirth. Outcomes for women weren’t that great. “Lots of complications, lots of infections, it didn’t have the effect that women desired. They wanted safer, less painful childbirth, but in the first third to half of the century, it was not always safer childbirth. What sparked the call for natural home birthing to return the feminist movement of the 1970s revived women’s interest in midwives. Women once again wanted to control their own childbirth experience.
In today’s society, due to fear of pain and the impatience of wanting a labor induction play .a huge roll in the decrease of natural home birthing. When it comes to bringing forth seeds, the most important aspect is ensuring the birthing person feels supported, nurtured, has all the herbal remedies for pain, ease etc, feels empowered and PROfident in their experience, as this helps them build a strong foundation for Motherhood.
